'THE FAULT IN OUR STARS' Movie!!

I know I'm not the first person to be excited about the TFiOS movie adaptation, but hey, this is my blog. I can post whatever I want, whenever I want.

Those of you who are following John Awesome Green already know he has been roaming around the set and giving us updates for the past two days.
The Fault in Our Stars is certainly not a literary masterpiece or one-of-the-best-books-ever but it hit me in the heart. Hard. I love it with a love I have in the little corner of my heart, and so it is very dear to me. Like the others, I am super-excited for the movie - keeping the questions and frowns about the casting aside. So when I saw John Green's continuous posts on his twitter, tumblr, everywhere, I knew I had to talk about it!

Here are our Hazel Grace and Augustus Waters!
Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort, respectively were cast in the lead roles a while back. Their credibility has been questioned a lot since then by people and I am among the lot. Shailene is a good actress (proven by The Descendants and NOT her crappy show) and Ansel looks cute and everything but the first problem of all is, Shailene doesn't fit Hazel's description and second, we've never seen Ansel act before! He has been cast in Stephen King's adaptation of Carrie and Veronica Roth's Divergent (Where he plays Shailene's brother. Weird!) but those movies are long overdue. Us fangirls will storm and cause a riot if they mess up Gus's role.
Lets just keep our fingers crossed and pray that they've cast the right people because TFiOS is a movie adaptation I am really looking forward to. Even more than Vampire Academy or Divergent. The Book Thief trailer made me lose faith in humanity a little, but lets keep that topic for another day.

Here's Green with Shailene, reading poetry.
I am guessing he is teaching her how to recite 'The Love Song' by J. Alfred Pufrock for the 'flight' scene.
:D

With Josh Boone as director and Sam Tramwell, Laura Dern in the supporting roles, TFiOS movie is going to hit the theaters sometime in 2014. And I cannot really express any further how excited I am about it!

Brb. Gotta go and do my job of being a fangirl potato.
